The essence and beauty of weddings captured by Melbourne photographer Tuan Ngyugen. This is a portfolio highlighting selected weddings.
The word “amazing” seems to be a little understated to describe Thomas and Linda’s wedding. In fact, it’s the only word that I could come up at the time of writing this article.
So sit back and enjoy the ride as it doesn’t get any better than this.
When we arrived at their Studio 9 apartment in the morning, where the boys getting ready for the big day, the first thing that hit us was the Nintendo classic mini, sitting tight and neat, waiting to be in the shot. We knew things would go wrong if we ignored the calling.
But what to […]
Life might have different plan for you and taken you to different path. But when you hold true to each other, your path will cross once again and true love will be found.
This is a simple love story with a happy ever after ending. Nathan & Hayley’s wedding is a living proof, don’t give up on love and it might just happen when you least expect it.
I hope you enjoy Nathan & Hayley’s wedding photography
Location: Werribee Mansion
“I’m sorry I didn’t turn out the way you wanted dad”, Tony said in his speech, “I didn’t become a doctor or lawyer”. That was unexpected and the crowd bursted out laughing. It was a hilarious speech. But others were just as good. Tony’s dad even sang a song to congratulate his son for marrying the man of his dream, it was just so touching and sent many people to tears. I must admit, I did feel overwhelmed and pretty emotional too.
The night went on with more awesome speeches and people just having a damn good time enjoying the party […]
This is the second part of Trung & Hai-Vy’s wedding. You may have seen their beautiful Vietnamese traditional tea ceremony which I had the pleasure to shoot the day before.
Forget about the latest blockbuster Avengers movie, this is the real thing. Your favourite character Iron Man is getting married, and this wedding is anything but ordinary.
The pair said “I do” at “The Good Shepherd” Chapel, resides within the Abbotsford Convent (Melbourne) before the boys pulled out what appears to be Iron Man’s mask, Thor’s hammer and Captain America’s famous shield for the shoot. But I decided to have a […]
7 years into their relationship, it was an afternoon in April 2018 that Nick & Steph decided to settle down and call it a wedding. It started with a first look capture at the Yaldara Dr Reserve where Nick & the boys waiting patiently under a rather looking tree, while our bride Steph makes her way into the meeting point, supported by her bridesmaids. She looked too gorgeous in the wedding dress, even Nick couldn’t contain his excitement when he turned around. You can tell he was over the moon when he saw his soon-to-be-wife. Their lips met, and followed […]
Mike & Alita chose Morell Bridge as their meeting point as it is their most favourite place to hang out in Melbourne. They wanted just a few photos at the bridge to remind themselves some good times they had while dating and weren’t planning on doing a first look capture.
Alita’s taxi was running late. He waited patiently and happily chat about how they first met until she came. Wow, I thought, not sure if there was a coalition between Saint Patrick’s Day and her beautiful green wedding dress. I looked at Mike and I knew he couldn’t believe in his […]
It has always been in my bucket list to shoot a wedding at this gorgeous venue, Stones of the Yarra Valley. For those who haven’t heard about it, it’s a winery located in the heart of Yarra Valley (Melbourne), as the name suggests. I strongly recommend you to visit this place and check it out for yourself. I guarantee you will never want to get married anywhere else.
So when David & Kindy told us they are getting married at the Stones, needless to say, I was over the moon. “I’m going to enjoy this wedding very much”, I thought […]
We were honoured to be part of Trung & Hai-Vy’s wedding celebration. The wedding was split onto 2 days because there were just so much to fit within a day (it’s actually not uncommon for Vietnamese wedding here in Australia as there are many formalities required). The first day started off with the tea ceremony, an important part of traditional Vietnamese wedding. The bride looking gorgeous in her red traditional dress (ao dai) and Trung with a big smile on his face and the bouquet on his hand, arrived just outside Hai-Vy’s family residence. He and his family would be […]
This is a real life fairy tale that comes true. Anteneh & Tam’s wedding remains one of the most beautiful wedding that I have had the pleasure to photograph.
The Huns (it’s how they call each other, short for honey) had been in a love for as long as anyone can remember (it’s actually 12 years by my humble memory). They first started dating during high school days when they both went to Footscray College. Footscray therefore, had become a big part of their life. It’s where they grew up, went to school, and fell in love. It’s no surprise that […]
Here’s a thing about a Chinese wedding, to claim his wife, the groom and his best men has to complete series of challenges set by the evil sisters (aka bridesmaids), when they arrive at the bride house that morning. You can’t get out of this. That, or you go home empty handed.
Or you could bribe the evil sisters with some red pocket money…
Once you get through the door, the usual tea ceremony takes place and you get to see the bride in her beautiful traditional red dress, which Mina had chosen very well. It has a modern look with a […]
The bond shared between two people that have chosen to spend the rest of their lives together is unique and indescribable. There are definitely many memorable moments shared between two lovebirds. Unfortunately, there isn’t always a camera around to capture these beautiful moments.
It is truly an honor that Shui and Kath have chosen Twentyone Photos to join them on their special day. But Kath and I go a long way back.
I actually met Katherine few years back at Kevin & Emily’s wedding in Melbourne Zoo when she was Emily’s bridesmaid. So, when it was her turn to tie the knot, […]
Jamie and Gia came to us pretty excited with this crazy idea of an “engagement party turned surprise wedding” and wanted to capture every moment, reaction from the guests when they found out. The plan was, while everyone busy and enjoy the party, Gia will sneak out to a rear building where she would get changed into her wedding gown. And as their real intention is announced, Gia and her grandmother will walk down the aisle and she will join her husband-to-be, Jamie, at the altar and begin the ceremony.
The rest, as they say, is history.
